I really want to show the pictures I shot recently in Cornwall but I will have to wait until the new year to show those. In the meantime here is a scan of a contact of my friend Mark.

Paul Weller, Around the Lake

Mike Moloney and I were recently approached by Paul Weller about our film 24 Hrs Here. We agreed to let him use part of the film for the lead single on his new album. Have a look at his website for more info,

Never one to rest on his laurels, Paul Weller is a musician who is always evolving and on March 26th 2012 the next phase of his evolution begins with the release of 'Sonik Kicks'.

On his eleventh solo album Weller continues to the push the boundaries, looking forward rather than back unlike so many of his contemporaries.

Sample a taster of what's to come right now on in the form of album track 'Around The Lake'.
The track is accompanied by a sequence from a short film that Paul is a fan of called '24hrs, Pavey Ark' which was directed by Mike Moloney & John Hooper.

'Around The Lake' is available to download from iTunes, click here to get your copy now.

'Sonik Kicks' features appearances from the likes of Noel Gallagher and Graham Coxon, the full tracklisting is:

1. Green
2. The Attic
3. Kling I Klang
4. Sleep Of The Serene
5. By The Waters
6. That Dangerous Age
7. Study In Blue
8. Dragonfly
9. When Your Garden's Overgrown

The Bookhouse Boys.

The Bookhouse Boys are releasing Fever Lullaby soon so I thought I would put up a lovely shot of them hanging around under a bridge.

Spectrum portraits

I mentioned previously I had been working on portraits for the charity Spectrum. The site has now been published and more exciting additions will be online soon. Above is just a selection of the 36 portraits I did for them.  Please click through to the charities site to find out about the important work they do. This project has involved many great creative people including Art & Graft, (who worked with Everywhere and Collective Approach).

I have also made a little film about some of Spectrum's work with Tom Collinson, Jamie Turner on camera, Jason Read on the Edit and John Brown on credits. Coming soon.

The Bookhouse Boys, Fever Lullaby

I made this video with The Bookhouse Boys for their amazing new single, out in November. If you don't have the album already go and get it here. The video was edited by the brilliant Matt Hoad Robson.

New website...

I have a new website! more out of necessity than anything else as I managed to delete the whole thing by mistake last week! The idea is it will get longer the more work I put on.

Island/Universe film by Mike Moloney and myself

During our time in La Palma our initial idea had to adapt and change due to circumstances beyond our control. The landscape and weather dictated our processes and we recorded our vision of La Palma.

The entrancing Bill Holland

One day early last month I spent an hour or two shooting Bill in and around his home in Fulham West London, our conversation brushed past religion and politics along its way to Eurovision and the Olympics. Check out what he has to say on his new blog (the Opinions of Bill are his own and in no way represent the thoughts and feelings of this blog).

Photos from Island/Universe

The show is into its first week and yesterday Mike and I were interviewed for (The latest news from the European Art scene). The interview should be up on their site in a couple of weeks. Above are shots of the show at _SFTF
